Victims of
prejudice
Prejudice is an
unfavorable opinion or feeling formed without knowledge, thought, or reason. Is
making a decision before knowing the facts of the case. People are victims of
judgments all the time. There’s prejudice because of gender, social class,
disability, religion, sexuality and race.
We live in a
society full of prejudice. People tend
to look the different as a bad thing.
Some are victims of the criticism by others. People judge you for what kind of music you
listen to. Also, for the clothes you wear. Whoever has some extra pounds could
have been a victim; it has been always a joke to make fun of the “chubby”
kid. Sadly, homosexual are huge victims
of prejudice too. People of dark skin or another nationality are judge by this
people that don’t accept that everybody is different.
What we need to
learn is that everybody’s different on their own way and we, as society,
shouldn’t be judging everyone on our way.
Everybody’s different; don’t criticize others for what they think, how
they live, who they are. You don’t know how much you could hurt somebody when
you criticize them. Don’t do it, it’s not like you are perfect.
